The Crowley Group as a Partner at 20th Economic Forum in Krynica

Warsaw 31 August, 2010 – creating a space for scientific research in Europe (a zone of free exchange of information related to developing technology and science), preventing the climate changes and assuring safety in regard to energy supplies are but a few provisions of the Lisbon Treaty binding for the EU countries since 1 December, 2009. New prospects and opportunities created by the Treaty are a leitmotif of this year’s Economic Forum in Krynica. During the Forum sessions, Jarosław Roszkowski, CDP President will talk about the Crowley Group international experiences related to the power industry, telecommunications and civil aviation. As usual, the Crowley Group will serve in the capacity of the event partner.

„Poland faces an incredible opportunity for a dynamic development both socially and economically. There are significant EU grants available for use. However, without an atmosphere conducive for reforms this chance may be lost. We need to built strong foundations, such as generic solutions, based on innovative technologies and efficient methods of management. To this end, we need an influx of adequate knowledge and competences. The Economic Forum in Krynica is an initiative facilitating a direct exchange of experience and views among top experts representing areas of major importance for the economic development.” - said Jarosław Roszkowski.

The Economic Forum, organized annually since 1991, is considered to be one of the most important events of this kind in the Middle-Eastern Europe and it is often referred to as Polish Davos. International experts and leaders representing political, social, economic and cultural life attend this event. The previous year’s edition gathered the audience of over 2000 invited guests who listened to the dialogue among 900 specialists participating in 140 discussion panels.
